I'm Oguz, an iOS developer with an unusual route into software. I studied civil engineering at Sakarya University, graduated in 2014, and spent five years building things out of concrete before deciding I'd rather build them out of Swift. I made the switch in 2019 and haven't looked back. These days I live in Istanbul with my wife.

Outside of work I'm a film buff and a gamer — soulslike games in particular, so I'm well trained in dying repeatedly and trying again. Being a die-hard Fenerbahçe fan teaches roughly the same lesson.
